The Short Answer

There is no universal wrestling shoe size chart. Each brand has its own sizing, and "size 10" in Nike is not the same as "size 10" in ASICS. Always check the specific brand's size chart, and when in doubt, measure your foot in millimeters and compare to the insole length.

Brand-by-Brand Sizing Notes

Nike Wrestling Shoes

Nike wrestling shoes tend to run true to length but can feel narrow through the midfoot. If you have wide feet, consider going up half a size or looking for wider models.

ASICS Wrestling Shoes

ASICS offers the widest range of width options in wrestling shoes. Their standard width fits most feet, and their 2E wide models are genuinely wider than competitors' standard widths.

Adidas Wrestling Shoes

Adidas wrestling shoes generally run true to size. The Combat Speed line tends to fit snugly through the midfoot. If you are between sizes, size up.

RUDIS Wrestling Shoes

RUDIS sizing can vary by model. The Colt line tends to run true to size, while some other models may run slightly narrow.

Size Conversion Tips

๐Ÿ“

Measure in millimeters

This is the most reliable way to compare across brands.

๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

Check the insole length

If a brand publishes insole lengths, use those โ€” they are more accurate than size labels.

๐Ÿ•

Try shoes on in the afternoon

Feet swell throughout the day. A shoe that feels perfect at 8am may be tight by 4pm.

๐Ÿฆถ

Fit the larger foot

Most people have one foot slightly larger than the other.
