How to Choose a Brand
1
Measure your foot first
Know your width in millimeters before shopping.
2
Match width to brand
Wide feet → ASICS. Narrow feet → Nike. Average feet → most brands work.
3
Consider your level
Beginners do not need $150 shoes. Start with an entry-level model and upgrade later.
4
Try before you buy
If possible, try shoes on at a local wrestling shop. Online shopping is convenient but trying on is irreplaceable.
